Originally from Tibet, Marie Massin spent her childhood in India, her adolescence in Europe and today she lives and works in Montreal. She has been practicing ceramic art since the age of nine. Arriving in Canada, she worked as a graphic designer before undertaking technical training in ceramics at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal. She participated in the 28th edition of 1001pots in the Laurentians, as well as in the Salon des Métiers d'arts de Montréal. She makes singular and functional objects by using a turning wheel, handbuilding and slipcasting.
